This webinar will discuss processes needed to evaluate the right ventricle (RV) of the heart, assess the challenges with various patient populations, and explore the advantages of using ultrasound enhancing agents (UEAs) for a more comprehensive diagnosis. Using UEAs to enhance RV echocardiography, as established by various case studies, has shown to be effective in evaluating the right ventricular size, function, and wall motion to a greater degree than without. Current trends will be reviewed and real-life case examples will be presented to enhance patient care.
- Describe how size and function play pivotal roles in the prognosis of several cardiac diseases.
- Discuss the reasons why echocardiography should be the most frequently used imaging modality.
- Review cardiac anatomy and explore how Right Ventricular (RV) assessment requires multiple scanning windows.
This program has been designed for sonographers and other healthcare professionals involved in echocardiography.
