Sonographers and Physicians need up-to-date information to understand the important role of contrast echocardiography for the diagnosis, monitoring, and management of cardiovascular disease. Reliable endocardial border definition is crucial for the assessment of LV wall motion and detection of coronary artery disease (CAD), which can be difficult in some patients. In situations where quality images can only be recorded using special breathing maneuvers, clinicians may find that stress echocardiography with contrast agents is of benefit, particularly in obtaining reliable loops at peak stress. This webinar will present case studies illustrating the use of contrast to improve image quality and diagnostic accuracy in echocardiography.
